Artisanal Mining
Gold production in Uganda and Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has increased drastically. Currently, gold accounts for 30 percent of export revenue in Uganda and about 38 percent in the DR Congo. With gold deposits that are widely distributed across Uganda and DRC, we developed interest in investing in gold mining and today, we are among the leading exporters and producers of gold in East Africa.
Buying and Selling
At Mongbwalu Gold Mining , we are buying from local miners and refining the gold to prepare for International market, though our gold is not 99% purity but we normally achieve 95.6% Purity as this is referred to as dore bars . Be sure to get good quality and at a competitive price in the East African region. Our minimum quantity is 500grams up to a maximum of 100kgs of gold but we can still outsource from other suppliers depending on the client’s request
Safekeeping
Gold Safe Keeping is a unique people friendly banking product. Which will suppport you in your emergencies for your gold jewelleries. When a customer brings the jewellery, all the articles will be tested for purity and weight. Thereafter, the Bank will issue a ‘Gold Safekeeping Certificate’ where the description, quality, and quantity of the articles will be mentioned along with the market value and the amount of the safekeeping fee. The custodial fee is charged for a 12 month period after which the articles may be redeemed or renewed for a further 12 month period at the new valuation.
